On October 24, 2023, the Singapore-China Construction Industry Vocational Education Model Exchange Seminar, jointly organized by the Singapore International Education Association and the China Construction Vocational Education Association, was successfully held in Singapore. This event aimed to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Singapore and China in the field of vocational education within the construction industry, enhancing the technical level and quality of vocational education in the institutions under the Singapore International Education Association.

Promoting Bilateral Cooperation

During the event, key members of the Singapore International Education Association, officials from China’s Construction Bureau, and vice principals from training schools in the construction industry gathered to discuss successful experiences and innovative models in construction vocational education from both countries.

Case Sharing and Interactive Discussions

The participants engaged in case sharing and interactive discussions, exchanging best practices and challenges in vocational education. Representatives from local educational institutions in Singapore shared their specific approaches to improving employee skills and professional qualities, exploring whether they meet China’s requirements for integrating vocational education with actual construction projects.
