The Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Hainan Province (FROCHP) donates pandemic prevention supplies to the Hong Kong Federation of Hainan Community Organizations (HKFHNCO). The handover ceremony of the donation was held in Haikou on 3rd March 2022. Other than purchasing over 20,000 KN95 masks, FROCHP mobilized kind-hearted enterprises and people to donate medical protective clothing, masks and money to HKFHNCO. This donation is to help the Hainanese in Hong Kong to work together and overcome the difficulties and reduces the impact of the pandemic as soon as possible.
Mo Haitao, the chairman and secretary-general of HKFHNCO, said that he was grateful for the concern and help from FROCHP, HKFHNCO will actively play a role in promoting and guiding the people to raise the awareness of prevention and control of the pandemic, and together, to contribute to the fight against the pandemic in Hong Kong.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Hong Kong, FROCHP has been continuously concerned about the situation of Hainanese in Hong Kong, actively coordinating and contacting Hainan enterprises and people from all walks of life to donate pandemic prevention supplies and money to help Hong Kong overcome the pandemic as soon as possible.
